What nanoGrid reveals that otherwise goes unnoticed

Live data uncovered that night-time electricity demand was 60% above target, and indoor temperatures held at 26 °C even though the heat pumps were off for a specific site.

The issue?

Motion sensors failed to correctly switch off the lights, which acted as unintended heaters. Once the logic was corrected, electricity use dropped by 60%, and indoor temperatures returned to 21 °C.

Meanwhile in another site, a ventilation fan was found running 24/7. By limiting its runtime to business hours, site-wide consumption dropped by another 15%.

Scaling Up: From three sites to +340

Because of nanoGrid's wireless and non-intrusive hardware, the rollout required no rewiring and caused zero downtime. Our pool of certified nanoGrid installers across Europe handled the rollout quickly.

Each site now appears on the dashboard the moment it’s commissioned.
