In the Headquarters of Krëfel in Humbeek there are more than 2.200 solar panels, and Krëfel has equipped its 75 shops in Belgium with the nanoGrid PRO+ Solution.
With sub-monitoring of electricity, gas, water and temperatures and remote control of lighting and HVAC, nanoGrid provides real-time in-app visualization of the consumption and enables the most efficient use of energy.
In the shop in Aalst, nanoGrid sub-monitors 15 electrical circuits, the gas and the water counters, 5 different temperatures and 7 other parameters to have a complete overview of the energy profile of this location.
With the remote control of the gas in charge of heating, nanoGrid achieved 19% savings on gas consumption.

Thanks to the per-minute remote control, nanoGrid makes it possible to lower the silent consumption to around 2kWh.
By controlling different areas of the shop separately (for example the different aisles with electronic devices, the warehouse, the area with the kitchens… ) it is possible for nanoGrid to switch on the devices right on time for the opening hour.
The system defines temperature setpoints and makes sure the temperature is reached at opening time.
