For our Sales department in Erembodegem, we are looking for a Business Development Executive:

Job Content:

In this role, you will proactively approach new customers within the utility and facilities sector, prepare quotes and win the contracts. You will carefully follow up on your own leads and build relationships with C-level executives and decision makers within large organizations.
Working closely with the CEO, you use your technical expertise and commercial flair to schedule key meetings with prospects that ultimately lead to winning the contract.
You will report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities/tasks:

    • Hunting:
      • Proactively search for new leads (market analysis);
      •  Independently approach and follow up the leads.
    • Relationship Management:
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and decision makers within large organizations;
      • Collaborate with the CEO and Sales Team.
    • Strategy Development:
      • Formulate strategies to enter new markets or expand existing markets;
      • Organize meetings with your technical and commercial expertise;
      • Drive the sales process, from prospecting to quotation preparation and contract signing;
      • Independently manage your pipeline and report to the CEO.
    • Project management:
      • Formulate strategies to enter new markets or existing markets.

Job Requirements/Skills.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Business Mgm/Administration or equivalent through experience;
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 to 7 years) in successful B2B sales experience, ideally with large or enterprise customers in technical, SaaS, utility or related industries;
  • A true creative hunter;
  • Energetic, persistent and results-oriented;
  • Passionate when bringing in new business;
  • Young, dynamic and inspiring approach to sales;
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior decision makers and navigate through complex organizations;
  • You don’t go for a “no,” but only convert a ‘maybe’ to a “yes.”
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong presentation skills;
  • A true entrepreneur and able to work independently and take initiative;
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and a true team player;
  • Flexible and willing to grow with the organization;
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and in English. French is definitely an asset.
